Fridays · PreK through 5th grade

Eight Fridays of real
sports, real coaching.

Football, basketball, dodgeball, soccer and kickball. The boys are split into age-appropriate groups and — with strong supervision — practice and play a different sport each week, with counselors who know their names.

Pick the sport he wants to focus on

He still plays the whole rotation — nobody is stuck doing one thing for eight weeks. But choose one at sign-up and that is the sport he’ll get much more of, with the coaching and the reps to match.

Football

A great game for cold weather, and not just catching and running. There are plays to learn and defensive moves.

Basketball

Drills, shooting, defense, passing and game smarts. It doesn't matter if he's tall or short, a newbie or a pro.

Dodgeball

Throwing, dodging, catching, and knowing when to hold on to the ball. Usually the loudest half hour of the day.

One of the hardest games to play well. Everything from field positions to proper technique.

Kickball

It looks easy, but it's just like baseball -- so many rules. We teach him to play smart ball.

How a Friday runs

Dismissal is staggered by age so no one waits around. If you have an older son in the program and want a younger one held until the later dismissal, ask for it on the registration form — there is no charge.

PreK and Pre-1A

12:15 – 1:20

Ends promptly.

1st and 2nd grade

12:45 – 1:45

3rd through 5th grade

12:45 – 1:55

Last dismissal.

Parents

Create an account, add your sons once, and register them each session. Upload photos of them practicing, ask for a later pickup, or tell us about a carpool.

Counselors

6th, 7th and 8th graders from YOSS. Tell us your grade and rebbe, which group you want, and give us a reference. Counselors are trained, and they take the job seriously.

Scholarships come out of sponsorships. If a family is finding it hard, sponsoring is what lets us say yes to them.
